For the past several months, I have been involved with an amazing organization called Chrysalis. With offices downtown (on Skid Row), in Santa Monica, and Pacoima, Chrysalis' mission is to help the poor and homeless become self-sufficient through employment. I recently took a tour of their downtown office and was inspired to get involved.

Each year, Chrysalis hosts an amazing gala called the Butterfly Ball. I was lucky enough to attend this year's event, which honored Darren Star, Rick Hess, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Gardner, and the amazing Client of the Year Trinidad Ramirez. The event raised nearly $1,000,000!

They are doing such great work and truly helping to change lives. I encourage you all to get involved!
